The cooking bug

It seems that the cooking bug is catching in our house and all of a sudden we are taking our time over how our food looks, as well as how it tastes! For example, take a look at H's open sandwich...

Bread topped with lettuce, parma ham, cheese and olives - delicious!

And then tonight, R was making dinner when I got home...

Chicken, buttton mushrooms, peas and bacon, all cooked in a cream cheese and white wine sauce (I think that's all, but it's a secret recipe!) and served with rice. What a nice surprise after a busy day at work  :-)

If these two carry on like this, I'll be able to put my feet up!
