Hot Barbie Bananas
'Barbie' bananas are a treat that H likes to make for our family barbecues.
A warm evening is perfect for a quick barbie after work. Throwing some sausages and burgers onto the heat, with R watching with great care to get the cooking just right! And just right it was :-)
After this, H prepared the bananas:
Hot Barbie Bananas
Cut each banana lengthways.
Tear a square of foil and lay the banana on it.
Scrunch the foil into a pocket-shaped parcel with an open top.
Place squares of chocolate - your choice! - into the split.
Place the foil onto the grill and leave for up to 30 mins to bake gently on the edge of the barbecue.
The chocolate should be soft but will not have completely lost its form.
Eat carefully - it will be hot!
Sorry, didn't get a finished photo - too yummy!
